Good News: Benazir Kafalat Program Payment 2024 (April)

The Pakistani government’s Benazir Kafalat Program, often known as the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), is an unconditional cash distribution program. Under the initiative, women and transgender people living in extreme poverty in all of Pakistan’s districts receive stipends of PKR 8500/PKR 9000 every three months.

Disbursement of payment in Banks

Funds are disbursed by biometric verification at ATMs, specially designated retail locations across the nation, and partner banks’ dedicated campgrounds. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir can make payments through Bank Alfalah, the program’s partner bank. On the other hand, Habib Bank is the official bank for Sindh, Balochistan, Islamabad, and Punjab.

How Can You Find Out If You Qualify for the Benazir Kafalat Program?

The eligibility for the Benazir Kafalat Program is ascertained by means of the National Socioeconomic Registry (NSER) Survey. Families who were surveyed for the program can use the 8171 web portal to check their eligibility for the program and the status of their disbursement by inputting the survey token number or Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number they were given at registration. Families that the Benazir Kafalat Program surveyed were also sent messages from 8171 regarding their eligibility and the distribution of cash.

Scammers use the wrong code

Keep in mind that the Benazir Kafalat Program can only send texts from 8171. Any message you receive from an unknown number mentioning the National Socioeconomic Registry (NSER) Survey or the disbursement of funds is fraudulent. Never reply to them or provide any personal information to them, including your name, address, CNIC number, or bank account information. You can report such messages to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) by calling 0800-55055 if you get any. Moreover, there is no cost associated with taking the survey.

Who needs to be qualified for the Benazir Kafalat Program?

The following people are not qualified for the Benazir Kafalat Program:

  • Those who pay taxes and file returns.
  • Those who drive cars.
  • Those who work for the government and its partners.
  • Those who have previously traveled abroad.

What Should You Do If the Survey Doesn’t Include You?

The Benazir National Socioeconomic Registry (NSER) Registration Centers are a place where families can register if they were unable to do so during the district’s recurring door-to-door survey. Families do not need to register again if survey teams have already registered them. This webpage will provide you with the address of the closest Benazir NSER Registration Center to you.
