Benazir Kafalat Program also known as the Benazir Income Support Program abbreviated as BISP was launched years ago in May 2008 by Former X-Prime minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gilani on the advice of Asif Ali Zardari, Former President of Pakistan.
The main objective of this program is to help needy and poor people in Pakistan who are suffering from extreme poverty.

To check whether you are eligible for this program or not, send your CNIC to 8171. You will receive a confirmation message telling you if you are eligible.
Step by Step Guide to the registration process
To participate in the Benazir Kafalat program, first visit the Benazir Income Support Program Office; This is where a BISP representative will take your NSER survey and obtain all information about your family that NSER will keep on file.
To Apply for registration, you have to follow the following simple steps and a straightforward process.
- Aid will be given to people whose poverty score is below 30.
- Only married women with valid CNIC and profiles will be removed
- Messages will be sent to eligible candidates.
- After receiving the SMS the beneficiary needs to go to the nearest Tehsil office.
- And get your money after biometric verification.
- To resolve the complaint, the relevant person must register the complaint in BISP.
