The Benazir Kafalat Program, sometimes referred to as the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) by the Pakistani government, is a program that distributes cash without conditions. Under the program, stipends of PKR 8500/PKR 9000 are given to women and transgender persons living in extreme poverty in every district of Pakistan every three months. 

People who are ineligible for the Program

The Benazir Kafalat Program is not appropriate for the following individuals:

  • Individuals who file returns and pay taxes.
  • Autonomous vehicle owners.
  • Individuals employed by the government and its affiliates.
  • Individuals with prior overseas travel experience.

Distribution of Money

Money is disbursed using biometric authentication at ATMs, nationwide partner banks’ approved campgrounds, and specifically selected retail outlets. The program’s partner bank, Bank Alfalah, accepts payments from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. However, Habib Bank serves as the official financial institution for Punjab, Islamabad, Sindh, and Balochistan.

Online registration

Online registration for the Kafalat plan has also been introduced by the Benazir Income Support scheme. For women who match the requirements and would like to complete their registration, the procedure described on this page can help. To complete the registration process, go to the official website of the Benazir Kafalat initiative. As soon as the website opens, go to the registration area and carefully fill out all the personal data. Included are the family member’s details, name, address, and phone number.

Beware of the Fraud

Only 8171 can send and receive messages under the Benazir Kafalat Program. Any communication about the National Socioeconomic Registry (NSER) Survey or money disbursement that you get from an unidentified caller is fake. Refrain from responding to them or giving them any personal information such as your name, address, CNIC number, or details about your bank account. If you receive any of these messages, you can report them to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) by giving them a call at 0800-55055. Furthermore, there is no fee to complete the survey.
