Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the chief minister of Punjab, released an extensive strategy to build 100,000 low-income homes. The chief minister, who headed over a meeting today in Lahore about the “Apni Chaat Apna Ghar” project, asked for a detailed plan to carry out the announcement to build 100,000 houses.

Building 3000 Houses in Each District

During the meeting, it was decided to build over 3000 low-income houses in each district of Punjab. She gave the go-ahead for officials to construct model homes in six weeks with a smaller down payment and monthly payments. The Chief Minister gave officials instructions to give sustainability and building standards top priority in these homes.
