Is 8172 a Registration Code?
Multiple codes run simultaneously. These include the Ehsaas Kafalat program, Ehsaas Emergency Cash Assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic, Ehsaas Women Fund, and Ehsaas Scholarships. All these plans use different codes for registration. However, the government can send you a certificate using the same policy. There are rumors that the government has introduced a new code 8172 for registration of Rs 12,000, RS 6,000, or Rs 50,000 but it is wrong information.
You cannot use this code to sign up or register for any Ehsaas program. Therefore, do not send your ID number to this account. This code is not just a lie because the government only uses it for communication.
Also, as for the beneficiaries, they can only get confirmation from the authorities that they have received or deserve the money. However, they cannot register via 8172.
New Survey For BISP by the Government of Pakistan

You can send your CNIC number to this number and they will show you the social services you deserve. You can also register via the online portal, they will check your eligibility based on NADRA and NSER data.
