The Government of Pakistan, in collaboration with Utility Stores Corporation (USC), has launched a major program under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP). This measure aims to reduce the burden on low-income families by providing essential food items at greatly discounted prices.
It was announced by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in August 2023. It gives wheat flour, ghee, sugar, beans, and rice subsidies to deserving families. Its management is done by BISP and USC. This program is available in more than 4000 utility stores across Pakistan.

To check your BISP PMT score online, please follow these simple steps:
- Visit USC’s official website
- Click on Tab.
- Request a 13-digit CNIC number (no overlap).
- Click on the Search button.
- Your score on BISP PMT will appear.
- If your PMT score is 40 or below, you are eligible. Those with higher score are currently eligible not.

- To receive Invoice Store grants, your poverty score must be 40 or lower. PMT (Proxy Means Test) score is calculated by BISP based on your family’s income, expenses and assets.
- To enroll in the program you must have a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
